About Ceranika
Beauty in everyday use.
My Story
My path to ceramics was unexpected, but discovering clay in 2021 allowed me to combine my curiosity about the world with a passion for creating. Today it's my full-time profession and way of life. What fascinates me most about my work is the moment when pure artistry meets functionality. I create objects that not only decorate interiors but above all serve you every day. Because let's face it – art is great, but art you can eat cake from or drink your morning coffee is simply better ;)
I have a background in cognitive science, and although I don't have a ceramics diploma, working with clay has become a field for constant experimentation. I can't limit myself to one method; I love learning new techniques and constantly educate myself, discovering ways of creating I didn't know before. Clay is a very rewarding subject for these endless explorations of the perfect form and function.
Privately, I'm a wife and mother of two children, and our home is shared with an ever-growing group of animals. It's right there, in the middle of everyday chaos, that the best ideas are born. I can't stick to just one hobby, so I'm constantly finding new interests that sooner or later I smuggle into my studio.
Working with clay has taught me patience and humility – it showed me that the process of creating is just as important as the final result. I love sharing my fascination and joy of creating with others and watching how under the influence of clay, the mind rests while the hands begin to create something unique.
I invite you to my world full of forms, textures, and endless ideas. Make yourself at home and surround yourself with beauty that simply works!
